Completed your undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool and thinking of progressing to postgraduate study with us? You could get a loyalty discount of up to £2,500 off your postgraduate tuition fees from the 2025/26 academic year.

Award

Receive up to £2,500 off your postgraduate tuition fees.

• £1,500 tuition fee discount for eligible UK University of Liverpool graduates.

• £2,500 tuition fee discount for eligible international University of Liverpool graduates.

The discount applies to the total programme fee. All tuition fee discounts are capped at 50% of the relevant fee. 

If you're a part-time student, you'll receive the discount pro-rata across the duration of your course, at an equivalent ratio to the payment schedule for your tuition fees.

Eligibility

The University of Liverpool Graduate Loyalty Advancement Scholarship rewards the loyalty of our current undergraduate students and alumni who progress to a postgraduate taught master’s course with us.

This includes Study Abroad and Exchange students and students from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.

To receive this scholarship you need to be either:

• an alumnus or alumna of the University of Liverpool, having completed your undergraduate degree at the Liverpool campus.

• returning for further study having previously studied as an undergraduate exchange student on the Liverpool campus.

You must also be:

• joining a postgraduate taught master’s course, including MRes programmes, at our Liverpool campus from September 2025. It doesn't matter if you'll be studying full-time or part-time. 

We're unable to offer you this scholarship if you’re:

• registered as a student with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

• transferring to the University of Liverpool from partner institutions where an alternative fee payment or scholarship arrangement has been made.

• studying online.

• having your tuition fees paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organisation or employer, on your behalf.

The prestigious Kaplan Digital Pathways Excellence Scholarship rewards exceptionally high-achieving international students progressing from a Kaplan Digital Pathways Pre-Master's course to a non-clinical master’s degree at the University of Liverpool.

The highest achieving students (who achieves 75% or above), progressing from a Kaplan Digital Pathways Pre-Master’s programme, will receive a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study. A maximum of two awards in total are available to eligible students per academic year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

• Be liable to pay full tuition fees at the overseas rate.

• Be starting a new non-clinical postgraduate/master’s programme in academic year 2025/26.

• Achieve the highest academic score in a Kaplan Digital Pathways Pre-Master’s programme, with a minimum score of at least 75%.

The University of Liverpool Management School is delighted to offer two awards to students joining the Executive DBA programme for September 2025 entry.

• The Management School Executive DBA Award offers a 15% tuition fee discount for UK, EU and international applicants.

• The Management School Progress to Executive DBA Award provides a £2,000 per year tuition fee discount for years 1 and 2 of the programme for University of Liverpool alumni. This can be combined with the Management School Executive DBA Award.

£2,000 per year tuition fee discount, applicable to years 1 and 2 of the programme only.

Eligibility criteria

The award is open to UK, EU and international applicants to the Executive DBA programme for September 2025 entry who are University of Liverpool alumni.

It can also be combined with the Management School Executive DBA Award.

If you're an MBA offer holder, with four or more years of professional or managerial experience and a strong academic background, you could be eligible for a discount of 50% off your tuition fees. You'll need to be joining the Liverpool MBA or Football Industries MBA and studying on campus.

Eligibility 

The Management School MBA Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to eligible UK, Republic of Ireland and international applicants joining the Liverpool MBA, Football Industries MBA or Online Football Industries MBA, and studying during the academic year 2025/26.

You'll need to demonstrate academic and professional excellence. You must:

• hold at least a high 2:1 or equivalent (65%+ in your undergraduate or postgraduate degree).

• have four or more years of professional/managerial experience.

• be able to demonstrate leadership potential.

If you don’t have a degree equivalent to a high 2:1 or above, you could still be considered for this scholarship. You’ll need to have 10 or more years of professional or managerial experience and be able to demonstrate your continuing professional development.

Our Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarships - Country and Achievement offer generous tuition fee discounts to eligible new international students. These awards are based on your nationality and prior academic achievement.

If you're a new international student, who hasn't studied with us before, you could be eligible for a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000. This includes a £2,500 discount if you have a first-class degree, or equivalent qualification, and a £2,500 discount for specific nationalities.

A tuition fee discount of £2,500 with a Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship - Achievement

You could be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount of £2,500 if you're joining an eligible course and have a first-class degree, or an equivalent qualification as defined by the University of Liverpool.

Eligibility

To receive this scholarship, you'll need to:

• Be joining an eligible master's course, including MRes programmes, from September 2025

• Be studying on campus in Liverpool

• Be paying the tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate

• Accept your offer of a place and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline indicated in your offer letter.

We won't be able to offer you this scholarship if you:

• Studied at University of Liverpool International College, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), or completed your undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool. If you've studied with us before, including as a Study Abroad, Exchange or XJTLU student, you could be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount through our University of Liverpool Graduate Loyalty Advancement Scholarship

• Will be studying online

• Already hold a master's degree

• Are having your fees paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organisation or employer, on your behalf

• Are joining a PGCert, Professional Doctorate (including DDSc awards), MPhil, MArch or PhD, or any master's course that isn't listed above.

If you've applied for or intend to study part time, any tuition fee discount you're eligible to receive will be applied at a pro-rata rate over the duration of your course. For example, if you intend to study over two years, you'll receive 50% of the tuition fee discount in each year.

The prestigious University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) Excellence Scholarship is intended to reward exceptionally high-achieving international students progressing from UoLIC to a non-clinical, postgraduate/master’s degree programme at the University of Liverpool in September 2025.

The highest achieving students (who achieve 75% or above), progressing from UoLIC Foundation and Pre-master’s programmes, will receive a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study (a maximum of 20 scholarships in total are available for eligible students).

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

• Be liable to pay full tuition fees at the overseas rate.

• Be starting a new non-clinical postgraduate/master’s programme in academic year 2025/26.

• Achieve one of the highest academic scores in a UoLIC Pre-Master’s programme, achieving at least 75%.

The University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) First Class Award is available to; non-EU international students who have progressed from UoLIC to a non-clinical, undergraduate degree programme at the University of Liverpool, who are entering Year 2 or Year 3 of their degree programme, and have achieved an overall grade average of 70% or above in the preceding year of study, at the first attempt. 

Eligible students will receive a £1,000 tuition fee discount in Year 2 and Year 3 of their (non-clinical) degree at the University of Liverpool, if grade average is 70% or above.

You must:

• Be liable to pay full tuition fees at the overseas rate.

• Be entering Year 2 or Year 3 of a non-clinical undergraduate programme.

• Have achieved an overall average of 70% or over in the previous year of study at the University of Liverpool after progressing from UoLIC.

In partnership with Kaplan, the University of Liverpool is offering up to 7 x £3,000 scholarships for students progressing from the University of Liverpool International College in 2025.

To be eligible for our Impact Progression Scholarships, students must apply for one of the Kaplan Impact Scholarships demonstrating their commitment to making an impact across issues of importance to the University and Kaplan.  Themes include:

• Career Focus (Employability).

Key information

UoLIC recipients of the Kaplan awards will receive the £3,000 Progression Impact Scholarship, deducted from first-year tuition fees, on successful progression to their UoL degree programme.  Where there are more than 7 Kaplan award holders, preference for the University’s Progression Scholarships will be given to those holding a Sustainability or Women in STEM award. On progression to the University, awardees will be expected to demonstrate their continued commitment to the theme of their scholarship by producing a short vlog or case study and by contributing to impact-themed sessions for College students.
