I chose Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology course, St. Mary’s University Twickenham, because this programme in pursuit of further in-depth knowledge in my field of work and decided to go to St. Mary’s because I was very impressed by the warm welcome and the meticulous care I had received from the teaching faculty and the administration team while visiting the campus earlier this year. As an international student with no relatives in the UK, I felt it necessary to have support from the university.
During my lengthy stay in the UK amid the Covid-19 pandemic, I was mesmerized by the country’s quality of life, work-life balance, and emphasis on mental health awareness aside from the incredible architecture and breathtaking nature.
